How to Achieve the Best Retention?

The optimal temperature for the glue is 18-25°C, and the best humidity range is 40-70%.

📌 If your environment is outside these ranges:

• Below 18°C or humidity lower than 40% → The glue may dry slower.
• Above 25°C or humidity over 70% → The glue may dry too quickly.

Maintaining the right conditions will ensure consistent drying time and strong retention. Use a hygrometer to monitor your lash room’s humidity levels and adjust using a fan, heater, AC, humidifier, or dehumidifier as needed.

Common Retention Issues & Solutions

❌ Poor retention due to incorrect adhesive use

• If your room has high humidity or temperature, the glue will dry faster. If your speed doesn’t match, you may experience weak adhesion, causing premature lash loss within 2-4 days.

✅ How to Fix It:

• Shake the glue bottle before use, remove the cap, and cover the nozzle with a folded glue wipe while shaking.
• Always wipe the nozzle after each use to prevent clogging.
• Use fresh glue—adhesive has a 10-month shelf life before opening and should be replaced every 5 weeks after opening for optimal performance.
• Store upright in a dry, dark place, away from direct sunlight, ideally in an airtight container.

Troubleshooting Poor Retention:

If you are experiencing retention issues, follow these steps:
✔️ Adjust the humidity and/or temperature to the recommended levels.
✔️ Ensure the adhesive matches your speed and technique and is still effective.
✔️ Clean natural lashes properly – we recommend using a lash shampoo before application and protein remover pads to eliminate makeup and oil residue. After cleansing and applying eye pads, use a cleanser to remove excess oil, then primer to prep the lashes.
✔️ Use fresh glue, and replace the glue dot every 10-20 minutes (or more frequently if needed).
✔️ Pick up enough glue for proper adhesion and ensure at least 2mm of attachment to the natural lash without gaps or cross-bonding.
✔️ Never add new glue onto an old glue drop—this causes thickening and weakens adhesion.
✔️ Check lighting conditions—lash lamps generate heat, which can affect glue consistency if placed too close.
