Watery Eyes or Fumes? The Lash Adhesive Checklist (Humidity, Amount, Placement)
• Aurora Jing
Watery eyes and discomfort are often linked to humidity + adhesive amount + placement, not just “sensitive clients.” If humidity is off, curing becomes unpredictable—leading to fumes, stickies, or weaker bonding.
Keep your glue minimal, refresh drops on time, and avoid placing too close to the skin. Pair this with solid prep and you’ll usually see better comfort and retention quickly. (If you suspect a true allergy, advise the client to seek medical guidance.)
